The
Revolutionaires are a four piece Rhythm &
Blues/ Rock 'n' Roll band, based in Durham. Formed
by brothers Ed and Rich Stephenson .
Although they are primarily influenced
by 1940’s & 1950’s R&B, in particular
Louis Jordan, Smiley
Lewis and Chuck Berry
which is reflected in their repertoire. They will
tailor their music accordingly, i.e. either Rhythm
& Blues or mainstream Rock 'n' Roll, whichever
your venue prefers .
If mainstream Rock 'n' Roll
is preferred then the band will play the more popular
tunes of the 1950’s: Little
Richard, Elvis,
Bill Haley.
Whatever the choice, The Revolutionaires will be happy
to oblige, as long as they can 'Keep
on Rockin'!!
