Vinnie McKee is a singer from Glasgow who captured the nation’s heart on Britain’s Got Talent. His stripped-back, emotional take on “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” stunned the judges, with Simon Cowell hitting the Golden Buzzer and declaring: “That was genius… one of the best versions of that song I’ve ever heard.” After winning the public vote in the first semi final live at the Apollo, Vinnie went on to perform in the BGT grand final.
